The role
We are interested in solution architects who can make complex technology choices explicit and actionable. You would work with delivery teams and stakeholders to understand desired outcomes, current constraints and non-functional needs, then guide a design that teams can implement and operate. The emphasis is on practical decisions, not diagrams for their own sake. You would stay engaged as implementation tests assumptions. This posting invites interest in a defined role and does not assert a confirmed client opening.
What you would work on
- Map business capabilities, user journeys, data flows and existing systems to identify where a proposed solution must integrate or change.
- Design application, API, data and cloud components with explicit security, privacy, resilience, performance and support considerations.
- Compare viable approaches, record assumptions and trade-offs, and help sponsors and engineers make timely architecture decisions.
- Define integration boundaries, migration stages and measurable acceptance criteria so delivery teams can build incrementally without losing the target design.
- Review implementation and operational feedback, adjust the architecture when evidence changes and communicate risks before they become delivery surprises.
Essential experience
- Experience designing and guiding a substantial solution through implementation, including application integration and data movement.
- Ability to produce clear architecture views, decision records and threat or risk discussions that support engineering action.
- Comfort working across product, engineering, security, governance and operations while retaining accountability for overall coherence.
Useful additional experience
- Data-platform governance, cloud modernization, regulated environments or reliability architecture for systems with demanding service needs.
- Hands-on engineering or platform experience that helps you test assumptions with teams rather than relying only on abstract patterns.
What to include in your application
Send your résumé and a brief account of a solution you shaped. Describe the competing constraints, alternatives you considered, the decision you recommended and what delivery or operations revealed later. Explain how you involved security, data and operational owners, especially where their requirements changed the initial design. A sanitized diagram or decision record is welcome if you can share it. Please apply to the Solution Architect posting so your résumé is linked to this role.
